Shop-Ware Secures $15 Million in Funding

A global venture capital firm is investing series A funding to boost an aggressive go-to-market strategy.

Dec. 4, 2020—Shop-Ware, a cloud-based shop management software designed for independent repair shops, has officially secured $15 million in series A funding provided by Insight Partners, a global venture capital and private equity firm, according to a press release.

With the investment, the company will expand engineering and sales team support to speed up the onboarding period for shops adopting the software, which provides digital tools for paperless shop operations.

The investment will also enable the company to work towards the software's growth, encourage innovation and pursue an aggressive go-to-market

"With Shop-Ware, repair shop owners and technicians can maximize operational efficiencies and customer interaction using the company's cloud-based management solution," said Nikhil Sachdev, managing director at Insight Partners, who will join Shop-Ware's Board of Directors, according to the release. "We are excited to partner with Shop-Ware to further scale their best-in-class product and capitalize on this growing market opportunity."
