Tire Discounters Expands Commercial Business

The company is now the operator of several Georgia stores and added its third distribution center.

Jan. 11,2021—Tire Discounters has become the operator of several Georgia stores and a commercial outlet and warehouse, which has become the company's third distribution center, according to a press release. 

The company is now the operator of two family-owned Porterfield Tire stores in Athens and Watkinsville, Ga. The Troy Porterfield team will maintain ownership of the properties, and will lease to Tire Discounters. The partnership adds to the company's network of more than 140 locations nationwide. 

Tire Discounters will also become the operator of Porterfield’s commercial outlet and warehouse, which will house the company's third distribution center. With the addition of the distribution center, the company has expanded it's presence and capabilities in the country's southern states.
