Jan. 29, 2021—In a continued effort to promote economic development for its tribal citizens and community, North Fork Rancheria Automotive Repair is set to open in North Fork, Calif. in February, Sierra News reported

The repair shop, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the North Fork Rancheria Economic Development Authority (an unincorporated governmental instrumentality of the North Fork Rancheria of Mono Indians) will generate new jobs with it's opening and is anticipated to generate roughly $170,000 in annual revenue for the North Fork area.

The shop will have a soft-open on Feb. 1. Proceeds from the operation will fund tribal social, training, and assistance programs for enrolled citizens, further benefiting the surrounding community.
