In the midst of the COVID-19 shutdown, a local repair shop in Belfair, Wash., was looking for ways to help its community.

Jeff Baker, owner of the Local Wrench, saw the town's children stuck at home forced to go to school through distant learning. He thought back to his days as a child and the enjoyment he got from field trips. 

So he decided to create his own.
