Future training sessions will cover hybrid and electric vehicles, engine repair and performance and heating/air conditioning.

Feb. 4, 2021—The Automotive Parts Services Group is offering a new technician coaching program focused on improving diagnostic skills, according to a press release.

The Group Training Academy’s program will include an online assessment and six group sessions held weekly and taught by ASE Master Certified instructors. A certificate will be provided for successful completion of the course.

“The Group Training Academy’s new coaching program is a great way for service techs to enhance their skills as well as learn more about topics they might not have much experience with,”  Larry Pavey, CEO of Automotive Parts Services Group, said in a statement. “The TGTA coaching program is also an educational opportunity that shop owners can leverage to help their current employees expand their knowledge and expertise.”

Future training sessions will expand into new topics such as hybrid and electric vehicles, engine repair and performance and heating/air conditioning.
