Feb. 11, 2021—Protractor, a cloud-based shop management solution for auto repair shops, has added a text-to-pay feature, according to a press release. 

Customers will now be able to pay, receive invoicing and deposit requests by text. 

“Customers will love the ease and simplicity of being able to pay right from their phone when it’s convenient for them,” David Rozario, Protractor general manager, said in a statement, “and shop staff will appreciate spending less time on clerical tasks, not to mention the elimination of end-of-day checkout rush.”
