Mechanic's Hand Crushed In Shop Accident

Working on a vehicle, the worker's hand was crushed between the motor and its mount.

Feb. 15, 2021—A mechanic had his hand crushed in an accident at a repair shop in New Jersey on Thursday, the Daily Voice reported. 

A 61-year-old employee was working on a vehicle at Z Star Park Ridge Auto Repair when his right hand was crushed between the motor and its mount. Another worker was able to free the employee, who was given first aid on the scene and transported to a local hospital. 

The report did not detail the worker’s current condition.
