May 28, 2021—The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is hosting a free webinar for service technicians on Friday, May 28 at 4:00 p.m. ET, according to a press release. 

Entitled “Evolution of the Passenger Vehicle Engine Oil,” the webinar will look at current challenges for passenger vehicle engine oils along with the relevant industry and OEM specifications.

“The light-duty engine is evolving at a rapid pace. The proliferation of engine designs using direct injection and turbochargers in order to increase fuel economy have required engine oil technology to evolve and grow as well,” the press release notes. 

Jordan Smith of Exxon/Mobil will lead the discussion.
