AASA to Require Vaccine or Negative Test for October Conference

Sept. 29, 2021

All conference attendees will be required to show proof of a COVID-19 vaccination or a negative PCR test in order to get in.

Sept. 28, 2021—Earlier this month, the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association announced updated health guidance for its upcoming technology conference in October.

According to a news release, all conference attendees will be required to show proof of a COVID-19 vaccination or a negative PCR test in order to get in. On-site testing will be available, but attendees will need to have a negative result before entering the show floor.

"By taking these measures seriously, we are confident that we can substantially reduce health and safety risk and increase the comfort and confidence of our attendees who would like to participate in-person," the release stated.

Other safety measures such as social distancing and mask requirements will be in place, and the conference will be made available virtually the following week for those unable to travel.
