Oil Changers Expands into Mechanical Work

The company announced on Monday that it has acquired ServiceONE Automotive, pushing the growing MSO into the mechanical repair business. 

Jan. 5, 2022—Oil Changers, a quick lube chain with more than 75 locations in California and Hawaii, is expanding its services into mechanical work following a recent acquisition. 

The company announced on Monday that it has acquired ServiceONE Automotive, a five-store chain in Texas. With the expansion the company now consists of three location types: Oil Changers, Oil Changers & Car Wash, and Oil Changers & Repair.

“New doors have opened with the addition of ServiceONE - we now have an experienced repair team and service model to help us expand acquisition potential into the multi-care space,” Frankenberger said.

In the same announcement the company announced two quick lube specific acquisitions as well, with the addition of Moe’s Super Lube in Coos Bay, Ore. and Five Star Oil Change in Woodland, Cali. 

The company now has locations in California, Oregon, Hawaii and Texas.
