March 30, 2022—The Women In Auto Care Conference took place in Indianapolis, Indiana, to a theme of Reconnect, Revitalize.
Speakers included Anne Coffin (Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance), the 2021 Woman of Excellence and Tara Topel (Owner of Topel’s Service Center), Shop Owner of the Year, respectively.
Anne’s presentation, “The Long and Winding Road” encouraged attendees to remember that “the path is never straight, and that’s OK … share your voice, and know that you’ve earned your right to be there.”
Tara shared her struggles as a young business owner and discussed the hardships of expanding a business during the pandemic, the loss of her beloved business coach Bob Greenwood, and the unwavering hope of “jumping at opportunities today, not ‘someday.’”
