Cottman Creates Consumer-Facing Education Video Campaign

April 6, 2016—Cottman Transmission and Total Auto Care announced Tuesday the release of an educational video series in conjunction with April’s National Auto Care Month aimed to teach drivers tips on auto care, routine maintenance and precautions presented by the brand’s Cottman Man. 

Each video is no longer than 55 seconds and provides useful car care tips in an engaging way for viewers. The Cottman Man ensures viewers are more informed about the auto care needs of their vehicle. 

“We created this video series as a fun and informative way for our loyal and growing base of customers to learn more about how to avoid car problems, and what to do if they occur,” Derik Beck, vice president of digital marketing for Cottman Transmission and Total Auto Care, said. “Putting The Cottman Man to work in these short videos helps to demystify car care for our customers by solving common car problems.”

The brand received a top honor in the Web Marketing Association’s 2016 Advertising competition, while The Cottman Man Blog won “Best Blog Website.”
