Aug. 25, 2014—Brake Parts Inc. (BPI) has promoted Paul Gurns to catalog manager, the company announced recently.

Gurns, who joined BPI as an automotive content specialist, will now manage the maintenance and delivery of application and product data, as well as digital assets in the BPI catalog system.

“[Gurns] has more than 25 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket and has gained invaluable industry knowledge from his time as a technician, shop manager and catalog manager, making him very well-suited for his new role as catalog manager,” said Bruce Tartaglione, BPI’s senior vice president of global marketing and sales.

In the past Gurns has work for independent repair shops, dealerships and aftermarket suppliers. He is an ASE Master Technician with L1 advanced level engine diagnostics, and holds several other technology and management certifications.
