SMP Releases 388 New Part Numbers

August 1, 2013— Standard Motor Products Inc. (SMP) has added 388 new part numbers to its BWD engine management line, covering domestic and import vehicles.

The new parts cover an additional 70 million vehicles.

Among the new parts are 150 switches, including those for hazard warning, combination, cruise control, multi-function, power seat memory and more. Other expanded categories include TPMS sensors, exhaust gas temperature sensors, EGR control solenoids, airbag clocksprings, camshaft sensors, crankshaft sensors, ABS speed sensors, power door lock actuators and ignition coils.
