Uni-Select Opens New National Distribution Center

Jan. 14, 2015—Uni-Select Inc., an automotive aftermarket product distributor in North America, announced tuesday the opening of its new national distribution center in Toronto.

With over 100,000 square feet and more than $14 million in inventory, the new facility will contribute to improving Uni-Select’s breadth and availability of products and its ability to offer a superior experience to its customers, the company said in a release. This new facility will carry more products than previously.

Over 6,000 different product types will be available including most of the SKUs offered under Worldparts, Auto Extra, and the recently introduced Mäktig brand for tools and equipment.

“We became a key player by putting the success of our customers first, and we remain committed to offering them the finest services and tools to support their growth,” Gary O’Connor, president and chief operating officer of Uni-Select’s Canadian operations, said in a release.  “We are really thrilled by this project which will allow us to improve the quality of our service and increase the breadth of our product offering to help them stay competitive in the market and meet their own customers needs.”
