DENSO Hires New I.T. Manager

July 10, 2014—DENSO Products and Services Americas Inc. announced Tuesday that Dameon Booker is now senior manager of its Information Technology Systems Group, a newly created position.

In his new role, Booker will oversee company-wide technology systems and support personnel. He’ll also be responsible for systems security and compliance with corporate policies and laws.

“This high-level position is an important link in the overall strategic expansion of our company,” said Richard Shiozaki, senior vice president for DENSO Products and Services. “[Booker] brings the technological and business mind set to support and enhance the sales and marketing of the numerous products and services we plan to launch.”

Booker, who was hired by DENSO on June 7, has more than 14 years of information technology experience at domestic and global retail, pharmaceutical and medical manufacturing companies. Most recently, he was the IT business relationship and portfolio manager for Mentor Worldwide LLC, a Johnson & Johnson company based in Santa Barbara, Calif.
