Federated Donates $200,000 to Toys for Tots

July 9, 2015

July 9, 2015—Federated Auto Parts has donated a record-setting $200,000 to the United States Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program with the help of its members and suppliers.

“Federated members and vendor partners have something special in common. They are all very generous and committed to helping those less fortunate,” said Rusty Bishop, CEO of Federated Auto Parts. “We want to thank everyone who participated in our annual Toys for Tots auction. It was a fun night for a great cause and we are very fortunate to work with such giving people.”

The Federated Toys for Tots auction was held during the Federated national meeting, following the annual awards dinner.

“Although we raised quite a bit of money for Toys for Tots already, our members are not stopping there,” said Bishop. “Many of them have already started their local Toys for Tots campaigns or have made collecting toys and donations a year-round charitable activity. Due to their kindness, we are looking forward to making another donation to the campaign in December.”
