All Previously Certified Rotary Lift Vehicle Lifts Recertified to New Standard

Aug. 7, 2013

Aug. 7, 2013— Every Rotary Lift vehicle lift model currently certified by the Automotive Lift Institute (ALI) has been recertified to meet the newest ANSI standard covering lift design, construction and testing in North America.

These lifts are approved to wear the new certification gold label.

In order to be ALI Certified, a lift must be third-party tested by an independent testing lab to ensure current standards and meet production and quality requirements.

As part of the standard update process, all lift manufacturers with certified lifts were required to re-evaluate listed products to confirm that they meet the new requirements by June 2013.

In most of the U.S. and Canada, building code enforcement agencies, insurance companies and health and safety officials enforce that all new lifts installed be certified.
