July 11, 2016—Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket announced Monday that it now offers an OE Electric Water Pump with an integrated Control Unit for a wide range of BMW vehicles. The part is offered through its VDO OEM Direct Parts Program.
The new pump is manufactured to the OE specifications. There are three variants, and Continental supplies three mounting screws with each variant. BMW model applications include the 1 series, 3 series, 5 series, 6 series, 7 series, X1, X3, X5, X6 and Z4. Since the part fits OE specifications, installation is simplified and labor is reduced, helping to also reduce comebacks.
Other parts in the VDO OEM program include air actuators, electronic throttle valves, flex fuel sensors, fuel injectors and fuel modules. More information can be found on the VDO website.
