June 3, 2015—Bill Maggs, president and CEO of National Pronto Association and co-CEO of the Automotive Parts Services Group (The Group), was recently honored with the Art Fisher Memorial Award.
Maggs was presented the award by Rusty Bishop, CEO of Federated Auto Parts and co-CEO of The Group. The award was given during the Federated Auto Parts national meeting and awards ceremony in Puerto Rico.
“The Art Fisher Memorial Award honors individuals that encourage collaboration, growth and support of our membership, not just when the direction aligns exactly with their own, but when the decisions made are deemed best for all,” said Bishop. “While it may seem a little outside the box, the choice to honor Bill was clear and unanimous. We are proud to recognize him for identifying opportunities to create value and ensuring that the combined efforts of The Group benefit the entire membership as well as our supplier partners.”
The Art Fisher Memorial award has been presented to an individual or individuals that exemplify Fisher’s dedication the membership, the group and the industry since 2005.
