CAWA Opens Availability of Scholarships Programs

March 5, 2015—CAWA—representing the automotive parts industry in California, Nevada, and Arizona—has opened applications for its Automotive Education Memorial Fund Scholarship Program.

The Automotive Education Memorial Fund aims to promote quality and high standards through education within the automotive aftermarket industry, the organization said in a release.

To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must be a resident of Arizona, California or Nevada and meet the following criteria:

  • Sponsored by an CAWA member, including a letter of recommendation from a CAWA member;

  • Pursuing a career in the automotive aftermarket or in business;

  • A legal resident of Arizona, California or Nevada, or attending a school in Arizona, California or Nevada;

  • A high school graduate or possess a GED certificate;

  • Be enrolled or planning to enroll as a full-time undergraduate student in a curriculum leading to a degree or certificate in an accredited college, university or technical institute;

Scholarship applications will be accepted through March 31. Prospective applicants can apply at automotivescholarships.com.
