May 22, 2014—FRAM Filtration, a U.S. oil filter brand, announced Wednesday plans for a 2014 summer tour with its mobile education unit.

The FRAM mobile education unit, with its sprinter van and 24-foot mobile trailer, aims to help teach consumers to choose an oil or air filter and learn how to take good care of their vehicles.

The education trailer will appear at auto events this year, including Car Craft Street Machine Nationals, Car Craft Summer Nationals, the Woodward Dream Cruise, and NOPI National.

FRAM will kick off its tour June 6 at the seven-day Hot Rod Power Tour. Now in its 20th year, the Hot Rod Power Tour features more than 4,500 cars traveling across seven states.

“The FRAM mobile unit and summer tour is an important, personal way for us to connect with FRAM’s core consumers,” said Josh Gordon, marketing director for FRAM Filtration. “Whether we’re meeting with DIYers at a car enthusiast event, or working with shop owners, trainers or technicians in their natural environment, the interactive displays and flexible footprint give us the tools we need to communicate in new and entertaining ways.”

Location and dates for the FRAM mobile education tour can be found on Facebook at and Twitter at @FRAM_Filters.
