May 28, 2014—MAHLE Aftermarket Service Solutions announced Tuesday that Jim Markle has been hired as the company’s new business development manager.

MAHLE’s Service Solutions division specializes in the development, manufacturing and distribution of automotive maintenance equipment. Markle has spent 13 years in various marketing positions for the division, which was previously called RTI Technologies.

“[Markle]’s past experience and expertise with the company proved valuable in choosing him to serve in this essential role for the new Service Solutions division of MAHLE,” said Max Dull, general manager for MAHLE Aftermarket, Service Solutions.

In his new role, Markle will conduct research on new markets, products and services, and will be responsible for ensuring the company’s programs are aligned to meet customer needs. He’ll also identify prospective customers and develop sales and pricing strategies.

Prior to joining MAHLE Service Solutions, Markle worked for audio visual company Visual Sound Inc. and was an infantry team leader for the U.S. Army and awarded the Expert Infantry Badge.
