May 29, 2014—Mitchell 1 recently added an automatic appointment e-mail reminder feature to its SocialCRM customer retention and new customer acquisition service.
The company said the feature is designed to help shops be more efficient and profitable by improving show rates for consumer appointments and optimizing technician scheduling.
With the new service, the shop’s management software calendar triggers a reminder e-mail five days prior to and on the morning of the appointment.
The customer is then able to click “confirm” or “reschedule” and the shop will receive e-mail notification of the appointment status.
