Snap-on Introduces PRO-Link Ultra Diagnostics System
May 29, 2014— Snap-on announced Wednesday its new diagnostics tool geared toward light diesels to Class 8 heavy-duty trucks.
The PRO-LINK Ultra, part number EEHD704004, is a hand-held device that provides coverage for the systems used by major OEMs including Freightliner, International, Volvo, Mack, Paccar, Kenworth and Peterbilt. The tool also features maintenance functions that let technicians monitor vehicle and driver performance with trip data, create health reports, utilize live graphing and perform engine control unit programming.
“With PRO-LINK Ultra, technicians have the ability to read and diagnose virtually any truck that pulls into their shop without having to jump from system to system and without spending time online or on the phone with multiple OEMs to find the information they need to get the job done,” said Tom Kotenko, general manager at Snap-on Business Solutions. “PRO-LINK Ultra delivers the broadest coverage ever offered in a handheld diagnostic tool.”
