OEMs to Lauch New Training at NACE/CARS

May 8, 2015

May 8, 2015—Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Ford, GM, Nissan, Toyota, Volkswagen and Honda will use the 2015 NACE/CARS Conference & Expo to launch new training programs.

In an announcement made Thursday, NACE/CARS said its show, running July 21–25 at the Cobo Center in Detroit, will include first-of-its-kind OEM training opportunities.

“The Support and participation of the car manufacturers is a significant and a historical development. Although they’ve provided training in the past, the industry has never experienced so many classes being introduced for the first time at one event,” said Dan Risley, ASA president and executive director. “Service and repair professionals will benefit from attending and learning directly from the car manufacturers on how to repair the cars of today and tomorrow.”

The OEMs will be able to serve several segments of the automotive industry at once, the announcement said. Leadership in collision and insurance markets will be in attendance to gain insight on the latest in carbon fiber, high-strength steel, and aluminum repair. Floor displays and demonstrations will also be available to attendees as well as presentations, seminars, and training on the most up-to-date OEM technologies.
