May 17, 2016—Family Service Day announced Tuesday a new partnership with Jasper Engines & Transmissions to give back to the local community.

“Family Service Day is aligned with our mission of developing strong bonds and relationships among our associates, customers and communities,” JASPER president and COO Zach Bawel said. “We’re excited to sponsor this successful community-focused marketing program to our installers to help grow their businesses and reputations.”

Family Service Day provides the necessary tools and coaching for shops to create Keepin Cars Kickin’ events to grow their businesses and give back to the communities in which they operate.

“By sharing our talents as automotive technicians with local families that need a ‘hand up’, we help independent automotive repair shops make a direct impact on their communities and attract ongoing positive attention for their efforts,” said Family Service Day founder Charlie Marcotte.

The events provide necessary preventative maintenance and car-care education without charge to local families who need help caring for their vehicle.

“Involvement from our industry partners is critical in making our Keeping Cars Kickin’ program a successful community-level marketing solution that spotlights participating independent repair shops across America,” Marcotte says. “It is a privilege to work with Jasper Engines & Transmissions, a company that is dedicated to preserving resources and giving back to the community.”
