Oct. 20, 2015—DENSO Products and Services Americas Inc. has been honored by Interamerican Motor Corporation (IMC) with its inaugural Vendor of the Year Award. IMC named DENSO the recipient at its 28th Annual Golf Invitational held Oct. 12 at the Industry Hills Golf Club in the City of Industry, Calif.
“We are tremendously grateful for this award, which honors our entire team,” said Frank Cisek, senior manager of Aftermarket Sales. “To be chosen as IMC’s first recipient recognizes an exemplary level of customer satisfaction DENSO is committed to providing every day.”
The award was announced by IMC President John Mosunic and Vice President of Merchandising Kevin McCloskey. DENSO management Taketo Shiontani, Jose Ramirez and Alan Lupinetti joined Cisek in accepting the award.
To find its Vendor of the Year Award winner, IMC evaluated vendors based on product availability, profitability of product lines and convenience of payment terms. Also key in the criteria were the ease of working with a vendor during AutoZone’s recent acquisition of IMC and the overall quality of the business relationship between IMC and its vendors.
