Snap-On Releases Power Unit

Nov. 2, 2015

Nov. 3, 2015—Snap-on has introduced its new CTUSB8850 18 Volt USB Power Unit that keeps smaller devices charged and easily attaches to Snap-on’s 18 Volt Lithium battery.

“The CTUSB8850 is just what technicians need to keep smaller devices and products charged. It’s compact and compatible with the same rechargeable battery included with many of Snap-on’s power tools,” says Rodger Isetts, product manager for Snap-on. “In many shops, charging stations and outlets are hard to come by, so this product allows technicians to use the power they already have to get the boost they need to keep working.”

The CTUSB8850 has four ports that are used to simultaneously charge products and is equipped with a ratcheting mountable USB head. It features 0.5A (two), 1A and 2A specification for various cord types.
