Honeywell Friction Materials Cover Additional 82 Million Vehicles
Jan. 20, 2014—Honeywell Friction Materials, a business unit of Honeywell International Inc., recently announced that its friction materials portfolio now covers an additional 82 million vehicles.
Honeywell said 185 new model numbers were added during the fourth quarter of 2013, with a focused growth in the shoe and parking brake category.
Disc pad coverage expanded to include another 1.3 million vehicles, while rotor, wheel cylinder and master cylinder coverage expanded to include 11 million vehicles. The Honeywell Friction team also expanded its Stop by Honeywell disc pad offerings, covering an additional 33 million vehicles, including the 2014 Dodge Dart, Audi A6, and Chevrolet Camaro.
