Lexus Issues Partial Recall of 2017 ES 350 Vehicles
July 5, 2017—Toyota announced it is conducting a safety recall of some model year 2017 Lexus ES 350 vehicles in the U.S.
Approximately 1,760 vehicles are set to be recalled.
It is believed that the right-hand side tie rod assembly in some vehicles may not be installed properly. This could result in the vehicle making noise, drifting to the left or right while driving, or the loss of steering control. This can increase the risk of a crash.
According to the automaker, if the lock nut is found to be loose, it will be replaced, along with the steering gear assembly, and the tie rod assembly.
Owners of the vehicles involved will receive a notification by mail starting mid-July.
