VSG Offers Training to Lift Inspector Certification Program Candidates

Jan. 8, 2013

Jan. 8, 2013—Vehicle Service Group’s (VSG) lift brands—Rotary Lift, Forward Lift and Direct Lift—provided factory training to 75 lift inspectors in Madison, Ind. last week to prepare them for the Automotive Lift Institute (ALI) Lift Inspector Certification Program pre-course examination, according to a VSG press release_notes.

VSG is the first lift company to offer this training to members of its distributor network.

The ALI Lift Inspector Certification Program is the only independent operation in North America to evaluate and accredit vehicle lift inspectors, according to the press release

Over two days, VSG trainers covered concepts that are essential to completing the ALI pre-course exam. “We are taking extra steps to support Rotary Lift, Forward Lift and Direct Lift distributors who have committed to getting their lift inspectors certified,” Ron Lainhart, Rotary Lift parts and service manager, said in a statement. “We believe this will allow them to better serve our mutual customers: the shops and technicians who depend on their lifts every day.”
