Sept. 11, 2017

The closing speaker for the 2017 Ratchet+Wrench Management Conference has been named.

Sept. 11, 2017—The closing session for the 2017 Ratchet+Wrench Management Conference has been announced.

Aaron Stokes, founder of Shop Fix Academy, a management coaching and training company offering AMi-accredited programs, will deliver his session, “The Fixer,” to close out the conference. Stokes, a 20-year veteran of the automotive repair industry, grew his shop from a one-car garage to a six-shop operation. Stokes owns AutoFix, EuroFix, a rental car agency and hosts a weekly radio show on auto repair.

“The Fixer” will dive into the keys behind Stokes' success and will help provide solutions to the problems that attendees face in their own facilities. This interactive session will provide a greater outlook on what it takes to succeed in the modern auto service industry and how to become the leader that your team needs to see it through.

The Ratchet+Wrench Management Conference, scheduled from Sept. 24-26 in Chicago, will include educational sessions, deep-dive workshops, panel discussions, and networking opportunities all aimed at helping shop owners and managers make money, save money and work smarter. Conference sessions and speakers were pulled from the best Ratchet+Wrench magazine content from the last several years.
