GM Names Global EV Program Vice President

General Motors announced the appointment of Pamela Fletcher, to the newly created position of vice president, Global Electric Vehicle Programs. Fletcher's appointment comes more than a week after the automaker announced its aim to produce at least 20 EVs by 2023. 

Oct. 13, 2017—General Motors announced the appointment of Pamela Fletcher, to the newly created position of vice president, Global Electric Vehicle Programs. In this new role, Fletcher will lead the vehicle program execution for GM’s entire global EV portfolio.

Fletcher's appointment comes more than a week after the automaker announced its aim to produce at least 20 EVs by 2023. 

Prior to taking on this role, Fletcher led the team that successfully launched the Chevrolet Bolt EV and she also helped develop GM's plan to reach a zero emissions goal.
