Jan. 8, 2014

Jan. 8, 2014—Snap-on announced on Tuesday its release of a 3/8-inch drive, 3 1/8-inch T40 bit socket for servicing Ford 6.0L power stroke diesel engines.

“Our customers asked for a specialty tool to efficiently remove and install injector hold down fasteners on Ford diesel engines, and we have delivered with the S6340E,” said Scott Amundson, product manager for Snap-on. “This T40 bit socket is designed with a precise fit and tight tolerance to prevent slippage and disengagement, so service technicians can save time and be more productive.”

Snap-on said in a press release that the socket is specially made for the removal and reassembly of Ford power stroke 6.0L diesel injectors.

Customers can learn more about the new Snap-on socket by contacting their participating Snap-on franchisee or representative, visiting Snap-on’s website, or calling 877.762.7664.
