Hyundai Recalls Over 40k SUVs for Faulty Steering Columns
This could lead to the steering wheel separating from its column while the vehicle is in motion, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
If the separation happens while the car is in motion, it could lead to a crash, Hyundai says. NHTSA says that the automaker is aware of two incidents related to this problem, but no injuries or deaths have been reported.
