Agenda set for National Automotive Service Task Force General Meeting

Jan. 29, 2013

Jan. 29, 2013—The agenda has been set for the spring National Automotive Service Task Force (NASTF) General Meeting, which will be held on March 8 during VISION Hi-Tech Training & Expo 2013.

This year’s meeting will include a presentation on why automakers should support aftermarket telematics technology. Led by Charlie Gorman, the executive director of the Equipment & Tool Institute, the presentation will discuss survey results from shop owners and offer insights into telematics in the world of the automaker.

“NASTF is the perfect place to have this conversation with the OEMs,” says Gorman. “Join me in this discussion as we set the steps needed to create an open and safe telematic diagnostic environment to best serve motorists over a vehicle’s full life.”

Other highlights from this year’s schedule include a service-ready panel and an OEM Town Hall meeting. For more information, check out the full schedule
