April 20, 2018—Hyundai Mobis will test its autonomous car model, named M.BILLY, in Michigan in the middle of April.

The testing will be for level 3 and level 4 autonomous driving system development. Level 3 requires driver involvement in certain circumstances and level 4 means no driver intervention.

Now, the company has three test cars but will increase the number to over ten by the end of 2018.

The M.BILLY name is taken from the word 'mobility'.
