NHTSA Expands Brake, Air Bag Investigation into 1M Vehicles

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is expanding investigations into Ford, Volkswagen and Nissan for brake and air bag troubles. 

April 24, 2018—The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is expanding three investigations for brake and air bag troubles, according to the Seattle Times.

The brake and air bag troubles could affect more than 2.3 million vehicles from Ford, Volkswagen and Nissan.

The investigations will cover the 2006-2012 Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKZ, 2006-2012 Mercury Milan, the 2015 recall of 416,000 Volkswagens and the 2009 Nissan Murano SUVs.
