May 2, 2018—Snap-on introduced its new IQON line of roll cabinets, designed with features for today's workplace. The line features a taller profile for more optimum ergonomics and improved work center visibility. The KCP1422 IQON, the first roll cab in the series, features three 50” full-width drawers, each with four bottom supports, so larger everyday-use tools can be moved from lower to higher drawers for greater accessibility.
The series presents techs with solutions for organizing and accessing what they need quickly. The SpeeDrawer provides a customizable drawer divider system for small parts and tools, and the popular PowerDrawer offers an in-drawer charging system with five offset 110 V outlets and a curved front section with two quick-access USB outlets.
IQON cabs also feature extra case corner gussets, which reinforce the entire structure, preventing cabinet racking and allowing use of additional drawer space by eliminating the need for a crossbar to support the middle. The rugged and fully welded drawers include ball-bearing slides that support up to 227 lbs. per drawer and up to 554 lbs. on the double slide drawers.
