July 17, 2018—Hyundai Capital America (HCA) recently launched a pilot car subscription program that offers consumers a special lease price, auto insurance and service maintenance on multiple vehicle models.

The new service, called Hyundai PLUS, is initially being offered at multiple Ohio dealerships for the MY18 Hyundai Elantra, Sonata, Tucson, and Santa Fe Sport models, according to a report by Asset Finance International.

Hyundai hopes that, by combining the special lease, auto insurance premium, and maintenance into a single package with a single payment, it’ll eliminate any inconveniences of current vehicle ownership, and also allow Hyundai dealerships the opportunity to offer their customers additional value and also  create more touch points to service customers.

According to an Auto Finance News report, the subscription program will start at $279 per month. A similar program already exists for Hyundai EVs in southern California.
