Oct. 29, 2018—Edgenet, a content management platform provider, on Monday named Scott Howatt as its director of automotive channel strategy. Howatt will be responsible for growing the company’s business with the aftermarket supplier base.

The Edgenet platform was designed with the aim of offering a product for automotive aftermarket suppliers to fully automate the process of providing product data to various receivers and, ultimately, helping suppliers increase their speed to market.

Howatt has 30 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket industry and has worked in several sectors of the automotive aftermarket.
