Nov. 5, 2018— Uber has announced the roll-out of a subscription service offered to five U.S. cities, according to a report by City A.M. The program, based on subscriptions, allows members to avoid surge pricing fees that occur during rush hour or customer demand, according to City A.M.
The lowest monthly subscription comes in at $14.99 in Austin, Denver, Miami, and Orlando, while Los Angeles customers face a $24.99 subscription fee a month.
Users of the app will be able to track their savings on every ride, auto-renew their pass, and cancel their pass at any time, City A.M. reports.
