March 12, 2019—A recent survey by Newsweek magazine asked more than 20,000 consumers to rate companies based on how they serve customers. Results revealed that Midas received the highest ranking for automotive repair and Discount Tire Direct was listed as the top online and wheel manufacturers.

“I congratulate and commend our franchisees and their teams for their commitment to Midas processes—and earning this well-deserved recognition. Thanks to their dedication, we continued to build trust in the Midas Touch throughout 2018, growing the number of customers that walked through our doors and cars in our bays," said Midas vice president and general manager Ron Seagle.

“The Newsweek award confirms what our customers are increasingly saying: Midas is a Touch Better.”

According to Newsweek, survey participants were those who had recently made a purchase, used a service, or gathered information about a product or service in the last three years. In total, 132,954 evaluations were collected for the survey.

Scores for the survey were derived from the following elements of a customer's experience: quality of communication, technical competence, range of services, customer focus, and accessibility.
