That’s it. No complicated long-term paperwork; nothing to do but business as usual for independent repair facilities. As Miller says, “Individuals ordering parts will not have to change their process at all. All they have to do is buy Nissan or INFINITI parts and check their progress towards rewards any time.”
Here’s How it Works
“As shops purchase more parts above their baseline, they’ll be rewarded,” he says. “We value our wholesale customers and want to reward them with a little something extra—that’s what the program is all about. Our dealerships will still have the same competitive pricing on genuine and Value Advantage® parts—none of that changes—we’re just adding incentive for the individual buying the parts.”
As part of the Parts Rewards Program, participants can reap tiered cash rewards depending upon the volume of Nissan and INFINITI genuine parts purchases. It’s tracked on the dealership side of the repair order, so there’s no extra paperwork or spread-sheeting to be done.
A simple custom web portal shows exactly where the shop is in regards to quarterly rewards (additional incentives may be added by Nissan North America after the program rolls out in June). At the end of each quarter, participants can access the portal, easily redeem their rewards, and look forward to Visa gift cards arriving in their mailboxes.
