Forward Lift Introduces New Mobile Column Lift

March 29, 2013

March 29, 2013—Forward Lift introduced its first battery-operated mobile column lifts through a company announcement on Thursday.

The new FCH mobile column lifts offer 18,000 pounds of capacity per column.

On a full charge of its two marine batteries, the FCH-series lift can complete 12–14 lifting cycles.

“The FCH family of lifts was designed with small- to medium-sized shops in mind,” said Lance Jones, Forward Lift sales and brand manager. “For automotive-focused facilities, the family’s economical price allows you to enter the heavy-duty market with little investment. If you already regularly maintain medium- or heavy-duty trucks, FCH mobile column lifts offer many advantages over the four-post lifts you may be using.”

Forward Lift says the fixed forks on the lifts fit most truck tires without the need for adjustment. The lifts also feature horseshoe shape quick-connect cables, automatic steering system, and forklift pockets.
