Aug. 29, 2019

Joe and Holly Shaw bought the 3,500-square-foot auto repair shop from Dean and Chris Pellegrino after being in business since 1989.

August 29, 2019—A husband and wife have bought out California Tire Co. in Newbury Park, Calif. from previous owners, reports Modern Tire Dealer.

Joe and Holly Shaw bought the 3,500-square-foot auto repair shop from Dean and Chris Pellegrino after being in business since 1989. The Shaws have been looking into various aftermarket businesses for the past 10 to 15 years and finally pulled the trigger on the auto repair shop, continuing to run the same shop with the same employees and all.

For the Pellegrinos, Dean has invented and patented an adaptor system for alignment called Tru Align, which turns difficult wheel alignments into a simple, intuitive, scratch-free process.
