Nissan Issues Recall for Back-up Camera Defect

Nissan has issued a recall for its Rogue SUV and Altima sedan.

Sept. 26, 2019—Nissan has issued a recall for an issue in the back-up camera on its Rogue SUVs and Altima sedans, reported USA Today.

The automaker is recalling about 1.23 million vehicles in the U.S.

"The back-up camera and display settings can be adjusted such that the rear view image is no longer visible and the system will retain that setting the next time the vehicle is placed in reverse," according to NHTSA documentation.

The recall is expected to start Oct. 21.,  and the cars will be fixed by installing a software upgrade.
