Dec. 30, 2019—A report from FOX 21 states that car repair shops in Minnesota have been busy this season with auto repair work.

According to the report, shops say replacing tires and doing suspension and steering work have been the most common. The foreman at Wayne’s Automotive in Grand Rapids, Minn., tells FOX 21 it’s very important to get vehicles checked this time of year, when the weather is the most extreme. The foreman also says with more snow on the way, people need to make sure their alignment is correct and their tires are in good shape.

“Along with the snow comes the cold of course and the fluid leaks like to come out. It’ll snow and then it’ll get cold and then the cars like to start bleeding and any little minor fluid leak turns into a big leak when you get that extreme cold,” said Jim Tschida, the shop's foreman.
