Tenneco to Hold Emissions Control Diagnostics Workshops

May 16, 2013

May 16, 2013—Tenneco, a replacement parts supplier, has released the 2013 schedule for its Walker Emissions Control Diagnostics Workshop.

This year’s schedule incudes more than 60 locations, which Tenneco says will target more than 4,000 attendees in the U.S. and Canada to teach new strategies for diagnosing emissions control and drivability repairs.

“This program gives technicians the chance to walk away with vital diagnostic strategies for converter replacement and more,” said Chuck Osgood, Tenneco's manager of training and sales operations for the North American aftermarket. “Not only does this program make techs more profitable, but it helps them establish valuable, long-term relationships with their customers. We’re excited to reach even more industry professionals by bringing this workshop to key industry events.”

The workshop, which will be taught by ASE-certified Master Technicians with L1 certification, includes real-world engine management case studies and interactive lab demonstrations. The class also places an emphasis on strategies for diagnosing catalytic converter replacements, preventative emissions maintenance, evaluating scan tool data and analysis of emissions gasses.

The 3.5-hour seminar is now available in English, French and Spanish and costs $70 per person.
